LaSalle Investment completes buyout of large West Valley industrial park

Global giant LaSalle Investment Management, an independent subsidiary of JLL, scooped up another warehouse building at 303 Crossroads in Glendale on Oct. 29, as interest in industrial deals in the West Valley shows no signs of waning.

The firm acquired Building B, which totals about 734,000 square-feet, for $109.5 million, according to Maricopa County property records.

It bought the property from Chicago-based Clarius Partners, which developed the 303 Crossroads industrial park alongside Chicago-based Cresset Partners.

Now LaSalle Investment Management owns the whole two-building, 98.6-acre park located off Loop 303 and Northern Parkway.

Last summer LaSalle spent $140.2 million to acquire Building A in one of the largest industrial deals of the year. That 1,023,610 square-foot facility is currently leased to Puma and operates as the global sportswear brand’s regional distribution center.

Building B is currently leased to lawn care giant Scotts Miracle-Gro, which manufactures and distributes lawn and garden products.

This latest deal “reinforces our conviction in the Loop 303 corridor and in Phoenix’s Southwest Valley as one of the strongest bulk industrial submarkets in the country,” Matt Bogovich, senior vice president of acquisitions at LaSalle, told the Business Journal.
