Diversified Partners Starts Construction on Mesa Mixed-Use Development

A mixed-use project at a key intersection in the southeast Valley took a big step forward on Jan. 31 — and has a new name.

Scottsdale-based Diversified Partners LLC broke ground on a new mixed-use development on the corner of Elliot and Ellsworth roads, which will bring a mix of local and national tenants to southeast Mesa. Starbucks, Ono Hawaiian BBQ, Señor Taco and a 107-key Cambria Hotel by Choice Hotels are among the committed tenants coming to the site.

Walt Brown, Jr., founder, CEO and designated broker at Diversified Partners, said work on transforming the 17-acre parcel in southeast Mesa has been ongoing for four years. The Covid-19 pandemic, issues with getting materials and rising interest rates pushed the development back until now.
